DESIGNING CDs
On-Disc Printing (printing song titles
and art to a CD) means silk-screening or inkjet printing to the
metallic (silver) face of a CD, using our specialized equipment.
Both methods allow the silver surface of the CD to be a part of
the design if desired, and also a full range of color.
CD Jewel Cases have front, back and
spine inserts. Front inserts may be a simple card, a folded brochure,
a folder poster, or a multi-page booklet. CD Sleeves (Jackets)
are constructed with 12 pt. board, C1S, with multiple pockets if
needed.
Digipak® is the brand name of a special CD case. The
cover is made of 15 pt. SBS paperboard, and the inner tray that
secures the CD is made of clear or opaque plastic.
|
"Digipak is designed as a
replacement for the traditional plastic jewel box
versatile
enough to allow an almost limitless range of printing surfaces
and multiple tray configurations." |
Digilite® is a thin (12 pt.) version of Digipak.
|
"Designed for high volume,
Digilite is thinner, lighter and less expensive than other Digipak
products." |
